David Peter Pozzetta (Dave) was born in Pittsfield, MA, in 1937. He attended school and worked for GE in Pittsfield until he took a job with Kimberly Clark, in 1964. He, then, moved to Atlanta where he ultimately became a parishioner of St. Andrew.
Dave also served in the National Guard and was an avid fan of his home-state, Massachusetts, sports teams. He was a Knight of Columbus, and had a strong commitment to his Catholic faith and its propagation to his community. That is why he bequeathed St. Andrew with over $1 million when he passed away, in July 2023. He also set up a significant donation to the St. Andrew Catholic Church Endowment Fund through the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia (read about our fund below). Dave’s gifts have provided our parish with many blessings and the opportunity to support St. Andrew long into the future.
We thank Dave and honor him with the dedication of our plaza in his name – now officially called Pozzetta Plaza.

David Peter Pozzetta (Dave) nació en Pittsfield, MA, en 1937. Asistió a la escuela allí y trabajó para GE en Pittsfield hasta que aceptó un trabajo en Kimberly Clark en 1964. Luego se mudó a Atlanta, donde finalmente se convirtió en feligrés de San Andrés.
Dave también sirvió en la Guardia Nacional y era un ávido fanático de los equipos deportivos de su estado natal, Massachusetts. El era un Caballero de Colón y tenía un fuerte compromiso con su fe católica y su propagación en su comunidad. Es por eso que legó a San Andrés más de $1 millón cuando falleció en julio de 2023. También estableció una importante donación al Fondo de Dotación de la Parroquia de San Andrés a través de la Fundación Católica del Norte de Georgia.
