Sacristan

Everything we do and are as a parish, leads to, and flows from the parish liturgical celebrations.  The liturgy is the very heart of our parish life. Such a celebration as this, requires some behind-the-scenes activity, care and preparation.  

For those who are called to assist in preparing the Lord's table for Mass, this may be your ministry.  It is the mission of Sacristan volunteers to provide support to the Deacons and Priests before, during and after assigned Masses. We are asked to prepare for Mass by setting up the vessels, wine and hosts on the credence table and then ensure that all vessels used during Mass are properly cleansed for use once again.  

Training is provided.
