Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on:

  • Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:45 PM 
  • Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 PM 
  • First Friday of the month from 8 AM - 8:45 AM 
  • By appointment with Fr. Juan Anzora or Fr. Jaime Rivera.  To make an appointment, please call Marcela Crowe at 770-641-9720 ext. 240.

Priests from neighboring parishes will be at St. Andrew to hear confessions on Monday, December 16 at 7 PM.
If you are unable to join us, please attend a Penance Service in another neighboring parish:

  • December 6 at 7 PM – Good Shepherd
  • December 10 at 7 PM - All Saints
  • December 11, morning and evening - St. Peter Chanel
  • December 16 at 7 PM – St. Andrew
  • December 17 at 7 PM – St. Thomas Aquinas
  • December 18 at 6:30 PM – St. Jude
  • December 19 at 7 PM – St. Brendan

Examination of Conscience

Before celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation, one should prepare oneself with an examination of conscience, which involves reflecting prayerfully on one's thoughts, words, and deeds in order to identify any sins.

There are various types of examinations of conscience but regardless of which one you use to prepare yourself for the Sacrament it should be rooted in Scripture; particularly, the Ten Commandments and Beatitudes. Below are a few examples of Examinations of Conscience that can help you prepare for the Sacrament.
