Dear Family,
We have much to be thankful for at Saint Andrew Catholic Church. Our parish has a rich history of worship, prayer, evangelization, service, and community for over 37 years. Our welcoming campus is a place where we live the intense presence of God and many of life’s most important experiences, whether it be through the Mass or other sacraments, our faith formation programs, the parish preschool, or our diverse ministries. It is such a blessing to be your pastor and witness each day how our community of missionary disciples lives out the Church’s mission.
Our buildings provide us protection, lighting, heat, seating, and space to live our faith in community. The maintenance of our facilities is carried out with much care, as they enhance our experiences and bring us closer to God as we share the Gospel at Mass. However, you may have noticed that over the past several years the buildings on our campus have begun to show wear over time and with use. In recent years it has become apparent that our aging church and campus facilities, that we all use and enjoy, are in need of timely attention.
For these reasons, after thorough discernment and consultation, we are embarking on a capital campaign to raise $2,500,000 that will allow us to be more responsive to our parish needs and mission.
The enclosed brochure shares the necessary plans to ensure that we raise the funds necessary to maintain God’s house and continue to grow God’s Kingdom here at Saint Andrew. Whether you are new to Saint Andrew or have been here from the beginning, I ask you to prayerfully reflect on how you have been blessed by this parish. I invite you to prayerfully consider how you are able to contribute your financial gifts to this crucial effort for our parish and join with me in praying for the success of our campaign. Sacrificial giving is an expression of our faith and a way to put our faith into action.
The Suggested Gift Chart details pledges ranging from $2,500 to $200,000, payable over three years. That is as little as only one dollar and a half per day over 36 months. This wide range of gift opportunities makes it possible for virtually every family to take part in the program.
Time will be set aside during all Masses for the faithful of Saint Andrew Catholic Church to make their pledge. As leaders of our parish, I am asking you to prayerfully discern your pledge and return your card to the parish office as soon as possible.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration and generous support for our parish as we look to the future with hope and continue to build the Kingdom of God.
Blessings in Christ,
Fr. Juan Anzora
Our Parish History
For over 37 years our church has been praying, serving and evangelizing here in the Roswell area. From its beginning, celebrating Mass in an offsite office building to our beautiful church and campus today, so many faithful hands have helped us along the way. We are very grateful for the support that you and others have provided over the years. We continue to grow in faith and our parish has an increasing energy of welcoming and unity that comes from our faithful parishioners.
