Men’s Group

Come join the Men’s Group as we embark on a study of the centrality of the Eucharist in Catholic life. Currently studying-- at  7:00 am in Room 207 we present a video series by Dr. Brandt Pitre of the University of Norte Dame entitled The Eucharist.  Join us as we view the following initial episodes of this 10 video series:  The themes will be:

  1. Source and Summit: Introducing the Eucharist
  2. In the Beginning: Garden of Eden and Sacrifice
  3. Lamb of God: The Sacrifice of Isaac and the Passover
  4. Miracle of the Exodus: Manna and Water

These  sessions will consist of a viewing  of an episode followed by a robust discussion about the video and how it relates to our spiritual journey.  Please contact Mike Lerch at [email protected] for more information.

Holy Rosary at the Grotto

The Rosary is prayed in front of the Our Lady of Guadalupe’s Grotto after all Spanish Masses (Sundays after 7:30 a.m. Mass and 4:00 p.m. Mass) and also on Mondays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m.  Join this faithful Marian group in prayer. English and Spanish speakers are all welcome.

Miraculous Medal Novena

Draw closer to God in Jesus’ presence through the Blessed Mother, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. This Novena is known for giving graces, guidance or intercessions to those who ask. The group meets Monday at 7:15 p.m. in the Adoration Chapel (except on civic holidays). Contact Russ O’Malley at [email protected], 954-695-5199.

Eucharistic Adoration Guardians

Guardians offer an hour of prayer each week before the Blessed Sacrament exposed in our Chapel. Eucharistic Adoration is an expression of our love for Jesus. Adorers experience a deeper faith and a closer relationship with Jesus during this time. The exposition occurs Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. At least two guardians are needed for each hour. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer as a Guardian or a substitute. As Jesus has said: “Come to me all of you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you.” Sign up today—we need you!
