For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission

Pope Francis has invited the entire world to participate in a Synod (meeting/gathering in the Church) process. The purpose of the Synod is to gain an understanding of the needs of the Church at the local level, by hearing directly from the people - each of us!

Pope Francis desires for each of us to live in communion with one another participating in the mission of The Church, proclaiming Good News in the communities we live in. Each of us is called to live our baptismal call regardless of our age or experience.

As a parish, we will host opportunities for you to participate. PLEASE REGISTER for one or more listening sessions using the button below.
****Childcare available upon request for in-person sessions

In the words of the Holy Father: …the purpose of this Synod, and therefore of this consultation, is not to produce documents, but to ‘plant dreams, draw forth prophesies and visions, allow hope to flourish, inspire trust, bind up wounds, weave together relationships, awaken a dawn of hope, learn from one another and create a bright resourcefulness that will enlighten minds, warm hearts, give strength to our hands’” (Preparatory Document, 32).

Thank you for participating.
