Sacred Heart of Jesus Eucharistic Pilgrimage

NOTE: This is a family event. Any youth participating (middle and high school) must have an adult present.
Adults walking without a youth, MUST be Virtus trained and background checked to participate.

In celebration of the Feast of the Sacred Heart and the Consecration of the United States by our Bishops, all are welcome to join us as we accompany our LORD on a pilgrimage from St. Brigid Catholic Church to Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.

The day will begin at St. Brigid in Johns Creek with check-in and gathering at 11 AM. We will walk in a prayerful procession with the Eucharist to Mary Our Queen (MOQ) in Peachtree Corners. There will be official police escorts and safety teams to assist as needed. The walk is about seven (7) miles. Rest stops will be planned along the way.

Participants are encouraged to bring sunscreen, healthy/sustainable snacks, a light lunch, and water. We suggest a small backpack or drawstring bag that can carry everything.

We will arrive at MOQ in time to celebrate the 5 PM Vigil Mass. Dinner will follow, but is only provided for those who register ahead of time. There will be a celebration immediately following dinner, with live music and dancing in the MOQ courtyard.

If you are able, a donation would be greatly appreciated to help cover donations for the food, parishes, musicians, t-shirts etc.
