Celebrating our diversity while raising money for charity!

Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2-4 PM 
in the parking lot closer to Riverside Road 

2 ways to participate: 

1) Enter your favorite dish for a chance to be recognized among several categories and raise funds for St. Martin de Porres Ministry. Registration is due on April 26, 2023. Please register online using the form below or find a hard copy in the Narthex. Food registration is now closed.

2) Attend the event on April 30th and purchase tickets for tastings. Each ticket will cost $1. Vote for the best dish in each category. 

Categories include:

  • Appetizer
  • Main Dish
  • Dessert

Participation Rules for Cooks:

  • Your dish should be large enough to serve 60 “tastes”. If needed, pair up with another person to achieve this minimum.
  • There is a limit on similar types of food. Register early to ensure your “spot at the table”.
  • Plates, cups and utensils will be provided.
  • 1 table and 2 chairs will be provided.
  • The event is outdoors and will begin at 2 PM. Please come to setup your table at least one hour before the event.
  • You are responsible to serve your dish and explain about it.
  • Bring decoration items for your table that represent your dish or place of origin
  • In case of rain, we will move to the Family Center.

Hay 2 formas para participar:

 

  1. Inscriba su platillo favorito de su país, región o ciudad de origen, para tener la oportunidad de ser reconocido entre varias categorías y recaudar fondos para el Ministerio de San Martín de Porres. La hoja de inscripción debe entregarse a la oficina parroquial antes del 26 de abril. Hay copias en la entrada de la iglesia o puede inscribirse por Internet usando la forma abajo.

  2. Asista al evento el 30 de abril y compre boletos para las degustaciones. Cada boleto costará $1. Vote por el mejor plato en cada categoría.

 

Las categorías incluyen:

 

  • Entrada
  • Plato principal
  • Postre 

 

Reglas de participación:

 

  • Su plato debe ser lo suficientemente grande para servir 60 "degustaciones". Si es necesario, forma pareja con otro feligrés para lograr este mínimo.
  • Hay un límite para tipos de alimentos similares. Inscríbase lo antes posible para asegurar su espacio.
  • Se proporcionarán platos, vasos y utensilios desechables.
  • Se proporcionará 1 mesa y 2 sillas
  • El evento es al aire libre y comenzará a las 2 PM. Por favor, venga a preparar su mesa al menos una hora antes del evento.
  • Usted es responsable de servir su platillo y explicar lo que contiene.
  • Traiga artículos decorativos para su mesa que representen su platillo o lugar de origen
  • En caso de lluvia, nos trasladaremos al Centro Familiar.
