The Gospel of Work

For High Scool and College Studens, Workers, Parnts and Grandparents

Informed by the teachings of the Catholic Church and inspired by Pope St. John Paul the Great, The Gospel of Work takes a close look at what scripture and tradition have to say about the vocation and meaning of work and the important role it plays in our human flourishing. Throughout the series we will view and discuss work under the lens of our sanctification—as an occasion for us to build virtue and live out the Gospel.

What is the purpose of work? Why do so many of us struggle to find meaning in our jobs or careers? In this free, 8-part video series directed by Michael Matheson Miller of Kallos Media and led by Andreas Widmer, The Gospel of Work wrestles with questions of the meaning, purpose, and attachment we have to (or, in many cases, detachment from) our jobs & careers.

Andreas Widmer is the founder and director of the Arthur and Carlyse Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship at The Catholic University of American in Washington, DC. Visit www.cioccacenter.com to learn more about the Gospel of Work.
