Anointing of the Sick

The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is extended to persons who are ill or suffering -- in body, mind or spirit.  There is no need to wait until a person is at the point of death to receive the sacrament. A careful judgment about the serious nature of the illness is sufficient.

The sacrament is traditionally administered by appointment with a priest.

A Healing Service with the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is celebrated quarterly at St. Andrew-- where we gather as a community to pray together for the healing of all present.   All those in need of healing of body, mind or spirit, as well as family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend.

For after-hour emergencies, please call 770-641-9720 and follow the prompts.

Prayers for the Health and Dignity of the Sick

Next Healing Service to be determined.
