Assisting Families affected by Natural Disasters

Hurricane Iota is another tragic reminder of the suffering that can be caused by natural disasters. Whether these catastrophes occur in slow motion or with little or no warning at any hour of the day or night, people of faith naturally want to offer assistance. Scam emails/texts impacting our parish! Members of our staff and volunteers have received emails and/or texts from email accounts that appear to be from Fr. Juan, requesting gift cards.  This is a scam.  Our priests will never ask anyone for gift cards, cash or other items of value via text or email.  Please always check with our parish office if you think you have received a fraudulent email or text.  The best thing you can do is to ignore it. Stay safe! 
Immigrant Family Preparedness Guide for Georgia Families  - In recent weeks, it was announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers are going to begin enforcement actions on thousands of immigrant families over the next weeks. Raids are scheduled in major cities of the country including Atlanta. These broad enforcement actions instigate panic in our communities --- and will not serve as a deterrent to irregular immigration.
