In line with the Health Department and CDC guidelines, we strongly encourage all parishioners and visitors to wear a mask when entering the church, even if vaccinated. Masks are still required for ALL unvaccinated people. It is our hope that this measure will help slow the recent increase of the spread of COVID-19. Together we can do this! Thank you for your cooperation.
Given the rise in COVID-19 cases and the fact that the Delta variant is more transmissible than previous virus mutations, we strongly encourage vaccinated people to wear a mask while at church and in parish buildings. PLAESE NOTE: Unvaccinated people are still required to wear a mask at church. For further information, please see the most recent directive from our Archbishop here.
We will increase our seating capacity in the church from 25% to 50% effective June 5/6, while continuing to encourage appropriate distancing between family groups seated. Masks are still required.
Starting Saturday, May 22, the general dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass was lifted in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. It is our hope that families who are able to leave their homes, return to church to participate in Mass in-person.
UPDATE 5-14-2021
In light of the new CDC mask guidelines and in line with the most recent directive from our Archdiocese, our pastor, in consultation with the parish leadership team, has decided that our current protocols will not change: Masks are still required for everyone in our buildings.
