Get in on this Pilgrimage!

Fr. Juan is making a Pilgrimage trip to walk the 500 miles route known as The French Way part of the Camino de Santiago (The Way of James) starting on June 29 and ending on July 25, 2023, which is the Feast of St. James.  He will be walking 500 miles, averaging of 20 miles per day, while praying for each individual parishioner of St. Andrew and our parish as a whole.  He will also be visiting the Shrine of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima.

Fr. Juan would like to do this spiritual journey as a fundraiser for our parish to support our current parish financial needs. Our goal is to raise $50,000.

All money raised will go straight to St. Andrew.  Please sponsor Fr. Juan in any one OR all of these ways:

1. Pray for his successful hike and travels through this pilgrimage
2. Sponsor his walk by pledging whatever you can for each mile that he walks (i.e. $1,5,10 per mile) and/or 
3. Donate a lump sum amount of your choice (i.e. $100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000). 

All donations are appreciated and will be treated confidentially.  During the fall, Father will host an informal meeting for sponsors to share pictures and talk about the pilgrimage experience.

Starting June 1, 2023, donations can be made online (look for El Camino fund) or by dropping off a check at the front desk of the parish office during the week. Please make checks payable to St. Andrew Catholic Church.
