Building Christian Marriage

Building Christian Marriage by Dr. Tom Spudic

Dates: Wednesdays on January 25, February 1 and 8, 2023
Time: 7:30 -9:00 PM
Cost: Free

Mostly retired, Tom is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist. He has worked in that profession since 1980.  He has also been blessed to be a parishioner at St. Andrew since 1995.

Marriage and family were sometimes described (by St. John Paul II) as a "school for love”. By that criteria, he has attended the "University of Linda (Spudic)" for the last 53 years. A slow learner, his wife reports that while his grades have improved, he is in no danger of graduating.  Despite a few nights on the couch over the years, he remains in good standing with the Dean of Students (aka Linda).

Tom will be doing a three-part zoom presentation in late January and early February (just prior to Valentine's Day) on building a happy Christian marriage.  He is doing the presentation out of pure love for the institution of marriage, with all its beauty, confusion, challenges, bafflement, romance and frustrations. Dean Linda is also likely to attend in order to keep Tom on the straight and narrow and also in the hope that by listening to others he can keep improving.

Please consider signing up for these presentations on the importance and skills of marriage; the development of the cardinal virtues we need to build a good marriage; and a chance at the end of the series for each of us to look (privately) into the mirror and consider individually how well I love my spouse.

You don't have to say word but we hope that it will be helpful and thought-provoking. Since marriage so much impacts all of us, anyone is welcome to attend.
Note to the guys: At the very least, it will be worth the price of admission.
